Chef Partners Recognition in 2024
January 7, 20252024 was a big year for our chef partners. Whether they received Michelin Stars, James Beard Awards or were lauded in their local press, these chefs shined. We’re taking a moment to recognize just a few of their exciting achievements.

Florida based restaurant, Los Felix, was awarded the Michelin Green Star. An award reserved for those restaurants with outstanding practices in sustainability. Co-owners Josh Hackler and chef Sebastián Vargas, explain what it takes to receive such an award in Resy Miami’s article, “How Los Félix Builds Sustainability Into Each Dish On The Menu.” Chef Sebastian, touts Niman Ranch’s grass-fed beef as one of the key ingredients in making their sustainability initiatives a success.
SFGate recognized Botanica restaurant and co-owners Emily Fiffer and Heather Sperling in their article The “Bigger, Bouncier, Beefier Burger Trend Sweeping Los Angeles.” The critics called this burger a “downright gorgeous creation.” Featuring Niman Ranch ground beef seasoned with a mushroom-based spice blend, seared Milliken Family Farms red onions, little gems, Cowgirl Creamery goat gouda, aioli and Dijon mustard, and served on a locally baked Bub and Grandma’s potato bun, this burger is worth a visit to the LA restaurant.
You may not expect to find Niman Ranch at a croissant competition, but Juniper a San Francisco-based bakery encases marinated Niman Ranch pork shoulder, gruyere cheese and pickles inside flaky pastry, to create their unique interpretation of a Cubano, winning them “Best Original Creation” at the SF croissant competition.
St. Louis Dining’s article, “The top romantic and cozy restaurants in St. Louis”, gives praise to Moussalli’s Prime, the former acclaimed Andria’s space in Edwardsville, for their flame-grilled, Niman Ranch Certified Angus Beef® Prime steaks.
