We have ten members involved.

Our herd is approximately 500 head.

We raised black angus beef, corn, hay, small grains, and soy beans.
What’s the history of your family’s operation?
Our ranch started as a dairy farm with my grandparents, Mary and Eugene, who were the top milk producers in the county. Bill and Nancy bought it and converted it to a cow/calf and steer operation. Jake has been running it since we started working with Niman Ranch in 2011. We converted to Black Angus in 2014.
What sustainable farming practices are a part of your ranch?
We use social management health, we grow our own feed and our manure is used on our own land.
How long have you sold cattle to Niman Ranch?
Since 2011.
"Family farms are the root of this country, and without them, we lose knowledge of how to grow food and know what's going into what we eat."
