Pancake Board with Vermont Maple Uncured Breakfast Sausages

This fun and creative pancake board, like a charcuterie board but sweeter, is perfect for a bridal or baby shower, or a special brunch at home. Ingredients can be swapped out according to your preference and the theme of your party, just always remember to add a high-quality protein like our Vermont Maple Uncured Breakfast Sausages.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups pancake mix, 2-3 pancakes per guest, I used Birch Benders
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ Tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1-2 packages Niman Ranch’s Vermont Maple Uncured Breakfast Sausages
  • 3-4 options of fruit, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries
  • Pancake toppings like peanut butter, maple syrup, jam, honey, butter
  • Yogurt, optional

Cooking Instructions

  1. Make pancakes according to the instructions on the pack. Add the vanilla extract and cinnamon to the batter and mix together.
  2. Heat a lightly greased skillet on medium heat. Once hot pour enough batter into the skillet to make a 3”-4” pancake. Cook for about 3 minutes on each side. Set to the side once done.
  3. In another lightly greased skillet heat 1 or 2 packages of the sausages. Cook until heated through.
  4. Once the pancakes and sausages are done cooking it’s time to assemble your board. Line the pancakes from one corner of the board to the other. Place fruit and toppings on either side of the pancakes. Then place cooked sausages on opposite empty corners.
