Candied Grass-Fed Beef Bacon

Ingredients

1 package, 8 ounces or 6 slices Niman Ranch Grass-Fed Beef Bacon

3 TBSP Brown Sugar

1 tsp Cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lay the bacon on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake bacon for approximately 5 minutes, turn over and continue baking another 5 minutes.
  2. While the bacon is in the oven, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
  3. Pick up the bacon slices, transfer to a plate, and carefully remove the parchment paper, drain the fat and replace with a fresh sheet of parchment paper. Arrange the bacon back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle both sides of the bacon with cinnamon sugar and bake again until the sugar is melted and bubbling. Remove bacon from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Note: The bacon will become chewier and more delicious as the sugar cools.
